SERIES: WP

WP-3636-DDConvenient fork truck work platforms quickly and safely raise maintenance personnel where they are needed. Attaches to fork truck by inserting forks into fork pockets and securing platform to fork truck. Fork locks secure platform to back of forks and a 36" long strap with hook attaches platform to fork truck. 42" high handrail with 21" high mid-rail on three sides. 60" high expanded metal backing on fourth side. Includes diamond plate platform. The usable fork pockets are 7-3/4"W x 3-7/8"H in rear and 7-3/4"W x 1-7/8"H in front. A maximum of two people can be in the work platform at one time. Uniform weight capacity is 1,000 lb. evenly distributed. Welded steel construction. Baked-in powder-coated toughness. The Full Featured units include an Emergency Stop Button Kit and Web Lanyard with XL Safety Harness. Alternate size harnesses available upon request, S-XL (XXL & XXXL available at an additional charge).

Models with suffix -84B meet California OSHA specifications.

Q: We purchased the work platform and want casters added. Is it possible to add them now?

A: The options for the work platform include casters, emergency stop button kit, fluorescent tube caddy, and tool tray and can be purchased at any time. Please see the options tab on the work platform information page.

Q: Is there a safety harness with the work platform?

A: The lanyard with safety harness is available in sizes small through xxx-large. Please see the options tab on the work platform information page.

Q: What is the horizontal and vertical center of gravity for the work platform?

A: The horizontal center of gravity (HCG) and the vertical center of gravity (VCG) are the dimensions to the center of gravity which can be found on the approval drawing under the model details section of the website page.

Q: What is the load center for the work platform?

A: The load center would roughly half of the platform length . Please refer to the approval drawing under the model details section of the website page.

Q: Can work platforms be used with Telehandler?

A: For safety reasons, please DO NOT mount a work platform on a telehandler, aka boom lift, or rough terrain forklift, even if the handler will be used on level concrete or asphalt.

Q: We are looking at the full featured work platform. How does the emergency stop button work?

A: The Emergency Stop Button Kit allows the operator to shut off fork truck power from the work platform. It works with both gas and electric fork trucks

Q: What is the load rating for the anchor points where the lanyard harness attaches to the work platforms?

A: All of our Lanyard Harnesses that go with the WP-Series have a 350 lb. capacity. The anchors would rate / support the same weight. Our work platforms meet all of ANSI/ITDF B56.1.

Attaches to fork truck by inserting forks into fork pockets and securing platform to fork truck. Fork locks secure platform to back of forks and a 36" long strap with hook attaches platform to fork truck. 42" high handrail with 21" high mid-rail on three sides. 60" high expanded metal backing on fourth side. Includes diamond plate platform. The usable fork pockets are 7-3/4"W x 3-7/8"H in rear and 7-3/4"W x 1-7/8"H in front. A maximum of two people can be in the work platform at one time. Uniform weight capacity is 1,000 lb. evenly distributed. Welded steel construction. Baked-in powder-coated toughness. The Full Featured units include an Emergency Stop Button Kit and Web Lanyard with XL Safety Harness. Alternate size harnesses available upon request, S-XL (XXL & XXXL available at an additional charge).
