Medium Duty Powered Stretch Wrap Machines
SERIES: SWA

Vestil's Medium Duty Powered Stretch Wrap Machines offer the same great features as our standard duty machines in a 5,000-lb capacity unit. Complete with a powered turntable (RPM is vairable from 3 and 12) and counter-balanced stretch film mast. To operate, depress the foot pedal and manually move the mast up and down. The film-wrap tension is controlled with an adjustable, friction-brake assembly. Film placement is controlled manually by moving the carriage assembly up and down on the vertical mast. A hand operated carriage-brake allows the carriage to move freely making film application fast and simple. The system will accept 10 (in.) to 20 (in.) material. The unit ships with mast disconnected-simply raise mast and clamp into place.

The standard manual film wrap delivery can be upgraded to 115V 1-phase AC powered mast option (PMO). The hand held control is used to raise/lower the film while the foot control is used to operate the turntable. Please contact factory for Approach Ramp options on these models.

Approach ramps and scales make a great addition to stretch wrap machines. The stretch wrap machine sits right on top of the scale for easy assembly, or they can be bolted together before shipping to you with the factory installation option PLATF-MTG-CA.

Q: Does this stretch wrap machine have fork pockets so it can be moved?

A: Yes, the SWA-54 and the SWA-60 have fork pockets.

Q: Can the wrap height be set on the Powered Mast Options so when the stretch wrap reaches a specified height, it either stops or reverts back down?

A: No, the wrap height be set on the Powered Mast Options. The Powered Mast Options height is controlled by an up/down hand control.

Q: If you order the SWA-54 or SWA-60 with the powered mast option (SWA-5460-PMO), will you still receive the standard manual mast with the machine?

A: No, the SWA-5460-PMO option is factory installed- so it replaces the standard manual mast.

Q: How do you control the powered mast? Do you have to keep pressing the up and down buttons for it to move? Is there a stop button?

A: The Powered Mast Options (-PMO and -PMO-RF) have a hand control. The user must hold the up or down button for the wrap to move. There is no stop button as the mast will stop when the button is released.
